Tasting Notes:

A perfectly balanced, modern Aquavit. The main flavor-driver is caraway. After that, a break with tradition begins as bright and faintly sweet citrus notes loom large. Fresh fruit and herbal aromas are an enticing draw while floral and earthy undertones hold your attention throughout. Bottled at 45% alc./vol. to allow the character of each ingredient to stand out when mixed. Over-all, a harmonious flavor with a clean and refreshing finish. Perfect on its own or in cocktails.

Norden Cocktail

  • 1.5 oz NORDEN Aquavit
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon
  • 0.5 oz Orgeat (almond syrup)
  • 0.25 oz Luxardo Maraschino
  • 2x Dash Peychauds’s Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake hard for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with lemon peel twist.

The Nordic Tiki

  • 1.5 oz NORDEN Aquavit
  • 0.5 oz smith +cross rum
  • 0.25 oz Pierre Ferrand curaçao
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime
  • 0.75oz Orgeat
  • 1 dash Angostura
Shake hard with ice and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with your choice of tiki accoutrements.

Nordic Mule

  • 2 oz NORDEN AQUAVIT
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Belvoir Elderflower Cordial Syrup
  • 3-4 oz Barritts Ginger Beer
Combine all ingredients in a copper mug filled with crushed ice. Stir lightly and garnish with 2 slices of cucumber and a sprig if fresh dill.

Cucumber Fizz

  • 1.5 oz NORDEN AQUAVIT
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0..5 oz GREEN CHARTREUSE
  • 0.5 oz HONEY SYRUP*
  • EGG WHITE, CUCUMBER SLICE, SODA WATER
Muddle cucumber slice in mixing tin, add all other ingredients except soda water. Add ice and shake for 15 seconds. Strain to remove ice and cucumber chunks. Shake once more for 5 seconds. Add 2-3 oz soda water to chilled cocktail glass. Pour shaken cocktail into glass slowly to allow foam to rise and set. Garnish with fresh dill.

*Honey syrup: equal parts, sugar, honey, water.

Lavender Negroni

  • 1 oz NORDEN AQUAVIT
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz Cocchi Dopo Teatro vermouth
  • 1 dash Scrappy’s lavender bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice for 45-60 sec. Pour into chilled cocktail glass. Press oil from lemon peel atop drink and discard. Garnish with sprig of lavender.
